King of California Derek Smith is 6'8 360lbs and has earned the #1 rank in CA through sheer dedication and passion for the sport of Arm Wrestling. Former professional gamer got into arm wrestling from a former gamer himself Ethan Fritsche. Derek was baffled at how easily this lightweight arm wrestler could pin him and has ever since made it his goal to be #1 in the world. He is now ranked #12 in the whole world after his most recent match with Legendary Tim Bresnan. His performance was so dominant that it shows the 9 years he has been training has truly paid off. He currently runs the biggest arm wrestling team in all of California Alpha Empire. When Derek is not spending time training himself he spends even more time putting his heart into training with his team. He has big goals not just for himself but for spreading this sport. Derek is currently training for a match with Dave Chaffee. Dave is known as the strongest arm wrestler in North America and this will be no easy task for our athlete Derek.
